wedding hair and makeup question

Where are you having your hair done at the salon or at your house?

I always wanted my hair and makeup to be done at my house the morning of but someone told me that if you have a large wedding party (which I do) it will take forever for all the girls to get their hair and makeup done especially if there is only one person doing hair and one person doing makeup.

Any opinions?

My friend got married on Sunday. Her and two girls from the BP went to the salon at 6 am to get thier hair done. I was to be at the house at 7:30am and the limo at 8:30am.

I was at the house at 7:30 and bc there was one stylist doing all three girls they didn't get back to the house until almost 9am! I did a quick make-up job and the limo guy waited.

I would have one girl come to do your hair and another to do the BP.

I'm having someone come to the house and I'm having about 6 girls. It might take a couple of hours but IMO it's worth the convience of not having to rush around anywhere.

that is what i was told too....so i am going to bring the girls to get their hair done and then have the girls come to my house and do the rest (my mom & me)

Well I guess I'm lucky...My dad is a hairdresser and he is doing mine, my moms, and FMIL. I hired 2 makeup artist and 2 hair dressers to do my Bridal party at the hotel....

I am staying at the hotel the night before since our reception is in Nassau and we live in Suffolk... having someone come to do my BM...
MOH doing my Hair and possibly my Makeup!

I am going to the salon. This way if any of my girls want to come, they can each have their own person.

The ladies I hired are coming to my hotel room. Most of my BP are going to their usual hair stylists.
The hair stylist I hired is doing me, MOH and FMIL. The make-up artist is doing me, MOH, FSIL, FMIL and my mom. One of my BM's is a make-up artist and is doing the other 4 girls as well as herself.

Usually if you hire someone to come to you and your entire BP is getting done they will bring another stylist and an assistant.

The hair and makeup girls are coming to my house.....there is going to be 9 women getting there hair and makeup done. We'll have an early start that morning, but I would rather be lounging in my house with all the girls then rushing back and forth from salons.

My hair girl came to the house and I had 9 total getting their hair done. She brought two other stylist with her and all was good and we were done pretty quickly. Everyone was happy with their hair too!!!

Haven't book hair and makeup y et, but I will def have them come to my moms house.
