Friday Night Reception Times - Opinions Please

Hi Ladies
Help! I need opinions from those of you who had a Friday Eve. Wedding. Do you think 8:00pm is too late to start the cocktail hour? Should I try to push it back to 7:00 or 7:30? I kind of feel like dinner at 9:15ish is late. Any experiences you would like to share??

Friday Night Reception Times - Opinions Please

Yes, you need to make it earlier than 8! Your wedding won't end until 1AM. Your guests might leave early. I would go with 7 at the latest.
