Wow-Dance lessons

I just called to find out about dance lessons, almost $600 I was not thinking it was that costly!

Yikes. I have FH working on that now actually. I'll let you know if he finds out anything cheaper. I didn't think it was going to be that much.

The Crystal Dance studio in West Islip has a wedding special -- $100 for five 1/2 hour lessons.....SweetCin used them, too!

We used Arthur Murray, and we paid something like $1200...its 20 lessons..but thats still major cash

Check your local high school for adult ed classes. My parents took 8 weeks of dance lessons for $55.

We used John from Ballroom Dance (A LIW Vendor) & we paid $280 for 4 lessons!!! I know JP&EP used him too!!!

I was going to suggest the same thing. My old roommate took dance lessons through adult ed before her wedding and was very happy. So did a coworker of mine.

We went here too and loved them. Rosalie is great! We learned a great routine in four weeks and everyone loved it. I definitely recommend them and I am actually going back there to learn more dances!

naunie mentioned it, but definitely try the high school adult ed. programs....i think in syosset it was $80 for couples. DH would never agree to it though.

I was just looking into this, and Patchogue-Medford schools has 10 dance lessons for $60 per couple. They are Tuesdays from 7-8:30 in the HS cafeteria. My FH has no rythum so hopefully this will work!

We decided to go with the crystal dance studio in west islip and we had our first lesson Sat. I have to say it was pretty funny, FH swore he would not go, I dragged him there he made me promise we wouldn't agree to more lessons before talking about it first, and at the end he whips out the money (Its $120 for 5 private 1/2 hour lessons and 5 group lessons) Can't wait to go back this thursday!

That is a great deal. It is to far for me though fh lives in NYC and i am in western nassau
