What cocktail hour hors deurves (sp?) do you always HOPE will be passed at weddings?

I have to pick menu today...

I know they'll make pretty much anything.

So far, I'm having:

Lamb Chops (which I hear are great)
Potato Pancakes (with applesauce)
Coconut Shrimp
Jumbo Shrimp (with cocktail sauce)
Crabcakes
Chicken Skewers

There was a passed appetizer at Chateau Le Mer I loved... maybe a rice ball or something... that was SO yummy! I wish I remembered exactly what it was!

Just wondering what you all REALLY wish would come your way when you're at weddings!

One of the reasons I picked my hall was because of the menu!

I will be having lollipop lambchops and shrimp cocktail and strawberries with marscapone cheese - and I have no idea which of the others will be must haves yet.

I went to a wedding where they had mini grilled cheese sandwiches...I literally asked the server to leave the whole platter with me.

That's one thing I'm afraid of.... that we're doing TOO much seafood for those who don't like it!

We got a great deal on it it was less than 20pp so we added it. You can come to mine

Lambchops, riceballs, mushroom puffs, and shrimp or scallops in bacon are some of the things I look forward to.
