Flower Question
I'm getting married in the winter and my colors are ice blue with expresso brown accents. However I have no idea what to do with flowers. All I know about are hydrangea's....does anyone have any other flower ideas that match this color scheme?

Re: Flower Question
i'm looking through my copy of 'the knot's book of wedding flowers' and this is what i see.keep in mind that i'm not reading when they are in season... but i guess it's a starting point:
tweedia... says it's best used as an accent flower
stephanotis... it's white but very pretty
sorry... that's all i got. i hope it'll be a good start for you.
i wish i had a scanner, to show you the picture.
why don't you google flower types, or maybe blue flowers
let us know what you decide to use

Re: Flower Question
You could always go back to basics with white roses or cream roses. There is also a good selection of blues if you look otr talk to a florist.

Re: Flower Question
You can get chocolate orchids (stunning), blue hydrangeas, deep red roses (that are more like a burgundy color), and accent with cream peonies. Although I don't know if all of these flowers are in season. And remember, your flowrers don't have to be only blue and brown, you can also include colors that compliment those like blush pink, cream or white. Keep in mind that bigger flowers are more cost effective since you don't need as many to fill bouquets/centerpieces.HTH.

Re: Flower Question
I'm doing the opposite of you! Chocolate brown with hints of light blue! I have a ton of pictures in my album - I'll try to post some.
These are chocolate cymbidium orchids - I'm having these in my bouquet and my MOH's.
This is blue delphinium - I think the lighter shade would be perfect for both our color schemes!
