Do you take off your engagment ring and put it on your other finger during the ceremony?

Or do you put the band over the engagement ring?

Please tell me, I am starting to think of all these things...

I didn't sleep last night either ...

I think before you walk down the aisle you put your e-ring on your right hand and then after your married and walk up the aisle you put your e-ring back on the left, this is what im doing

After I got dressed, I put my ering on my right hand & then after we were married, I moved my ering over to my left hand to be worn with my wedding band

I left it on my left finger.

my ering did not fit on any other finger so i just left it on my left hand. dh put the band on top of my ering and later i switched them.

i forgot and did it during the ceremony when the officiant took out the rings.

I plan on leaving it on my left finger and then switching the rings after the ceremony is over.

I put it on my right hand when I got ready in the morning and then switiched to my left after the ceremony.

Great question. I was wondering this too. I wanted to wear my grandma's diamond ring on my right hand, so I can't put my e ring on there too.

my e-ring didn't fit on my right hand, either.... so i just left it on my left hand, DH put the band on in front of it, and i switched them after we walked back up the aisle at the end of the ceremony.....
you could also have the best man ( or whoever is holding the rings) hold onto your e-ring, too and DH can put them both on together. during the ceremony...

Right before I walked down the aisle (as the BMs and GM were walking down) I remembered to switch my e-ring to my right hand. Lol, it was a bit of a panic!! But it's really nothing to stress over, if you forget to do it just switch them later.

After my w-ring was in place I slid the e-ring back over it.

I put ering on my right hand.. . but then after the ceremony I couldnt get it off . . .it was so tight on my right hand. So i left them separate for the rest of the wedding... i like how the band looked by alone on my left hand too.

I did not for 2 reasons: I didn't want to AND it wouldn't have fit the other finger...my right hand is slightly larger than the left and i am not able to switch my rings back and forth.

I never knew what my sister (jeanla4c) did until I saw her video! She was so sneaky! Right before her DH put her ring on her finger, she slipped it off!
