Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
You can have some of them do other things like readings.. this way there are included somehow.

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
That's a tough call. If you are really still close with all those people then i would just have everyone. I would hate to have to exlude someone...its not entirely the same but i have 5 flower girls because it was impossible to exclude someone.Maybe eliminate the sisters-in-law and just make it all friends??

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
I agree with Chrissy, maybe have some of them do readings during the ceremony. But, if they all mean the world to you and you want them all by your side, have them all in the BP

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
OK this was the problem we had. Keep in mind that FH had already asked the guys so there wasn't much room for any movement.I didn't want to cut anyone out either but now we have 7 girls and 9 guys. Therefore the first dance will be by ourselves instead of including the party.
Just as a word of advice, talk it through between both of you. FH might only have 9 guys to include, don't do what my FH did, discuss everything.
Anyone you exclude you could have do a reading, or hand out the programs, you can still include them, even if it isn't as a part of the BP.

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
If you're close to all of them then I don't know how you will be able to choose. I'd really have all or none of them-- but thats just me.I have a girl shortage in my bridal party lol you could always send me some over lol i have way too many guys!!! lol

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
I agree to have all or none. I wouldn't choose and risk ruining any of the relationships.

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
12 is a lot of people. I would talk to all of your 8 friends and tell them your situation. I'm sure a few would back out graciously-especially if someone can't afford it. Be upfront and yes they can always to something else to be a part of the wedding.

Re: WEDDING PARTY ?
Since it seems like the 'party of 8' are kind of all for one... it may seem odd to ask a couple and not all of them. If you are equally close to each of them it isn't like you can pick them randomly without hurt feelings!I would have the 2 sil's and the 2 college friends as the wedding party. I would then create a special honor for the other 8. Have them read, seat people, etc... give them special mention in the program and make sure the DJ includes them in some way... announcing them, dedicating a song for them, etc..
