NWR - Job interview question

Is it bad to tell someone that you have an interview somewhere else? I was just on the phone trying to arrange a time for an interview tomorrow and the guy asked if we could do it at 9am and i said i couldnt because i already had an interview at that time. was that bad?

not necessarily.... you could use it as a bargaining tool later on. i did that... like 'i was offered a job with ------, but i am really interested in working with you....' i got the place i was really interested in me to hire me before they finished interviewing everyone because they knew i was looking elsewhere...

trad carefully though... wouldnt' mention anything else you have out there until you're confident about everything and know your status...
