The jeweler ruined my FH wedding ring!

We went to get it sized and the brusing was all smeary looking, so I said this isn't right. Sure enough, it's ruined! They are offering to give him a 'similar' one, but he wants his money back. What do we do? If they don't, he is gonna call the BBB.....I don't know what else can be done?

Oh definately fight for a refund.

They should have to replace it with the SAME, not Similar or refund in full....

I would tell them that you plan to call BBB. Might help.

We are going to talk to the manager tomorrow and demand it. BBB or the Peoples Court!

where you got it sized is that where you bought the ring at? if so id think they replace it with the same ring.....if not id def demand for my $$$ back!

No, we bought it at a different place....

Any court would award you the full amount for the ring. You did not receive it back in the same condition in which it was given. If you don't get a full refund then let them know that you will be taking legal action. Also tell them that you will call the newspeople. Like help me Howard or Seven on your side.

yes me and my parents, we got my e ring there too. my rings we sized, thats why we went there again, cause we did trust them, not anymore!
