DId my decorative TREE for the reception

So I had to do all my projects at my Mom's because we have crazy cats that eat things. It took 6 hours, 180 leaves, 2 burns (from the hot glue gun ) and 10 battery operated votives but my tree is FINALLY finished. The pictures don't do it justice at all - it looks so much better in person - I just hope my photographer can take some good pictures of it. It's 5 feet high. It was originally going to be my placecard holder, I was going to write the names on the tags, but I decided I didn't want people pawing all over it and possibly knocking it down or anything, so I have another crazy idea for placecards. All the candles under the tree are also battery operated, but I didn't have all the batteries in them yet.


Here it is lit, but there's only like half of them lit because I need more batteries...


It's so big in person but it looks small to me in the pictures

Wow, I'm always amazed at how people can create things like this!!! The DIY stuff really gets my jaw dropping sometimes b/c I can't do ANYTHING lol so to see something so unique like this and how great it came out is amazing!! I love it-- good job!!! I'm sure the photog will take some great shots of it.
