Im sure this is out there.. but what are you paying for hair and makeup?

Feel free to bump an old thread, I couldnt find one using the search engine.

Some of these prices seem INSANE!

Not everyone could be paying $250+ for these services?!?

my makeup is $150 that includes airbrush which costs more and she is coming to my house.

hair I have no idea...i've been looking at prices saying 'what???' you are styling my hair...not cutting, or coloring or anything!!!!!!! jeeeez!

Oh and for the record...when my brother got married in Rhode Island a few years back i paid $20 for an updo....yes ladies...$20!!!!!!!! I almost fell over when they told me the price..

I booked mine just before a price increase. They are now charging $250 for hair and $250 for make-up for the bride.

I am paying $150 for hair and $150 for m/up. I don't think that is too bad bc they are traveling to me.

i don't have a definite price for hair yet (most likely around $160). Makeup is $175 and he's coming to my house.

I'm paying $500 for my makeup & hair and 4 other ppl's hair or makeup.

thats pretty much the average even though i was shocked with the hair prices- u can also ask your salon- it will be cheaper but u will have to drive to the salon - some salon do house calls

I cant believe some of these prices!!! I am going to have to go to the salon cause I refeuse to pay all this money for this service.

When you just get makeup dont at a place they charge around $50 or $60. Why so much if your a 'bride'?

For my BMs hair & make-up the price is $135. Mine will be done for free on the day of my wedding.

Hair will be free because my stylist from New Mexico is coming...whopeee!

Make up....have no idea.

I do see a lot of girls say if you go to a smaller local place there is a much better price!

$75 bridesmaids
$85 m/u (my hotel)

I hate to rub it in since my dad owns a salon I'm getting the works for FREE!! Dad's doing the hair and His makeup artisit is doing my airbrush make up and staying with me the entire day for touch ups...that was his gift to me!!! Call me lucky!!!

My makeup is $65 and if anyone else wants theirs done its $55 and she is coming to my house. The trial was $45.

Not sure how much my hair will be I am using my regular hairdresser. She's done my hair for my eparty and I got so many compliments that I wouldn't use anyone else. I think for the eparty she charged my $65 but I also had my roots done. Needless to say she's not expensive at all.
