Anybody else getting red eyes / eye strain from being on LIW so much? (half kidding, half serious!)

I actually *have* noticed that the veins in my eyes have been 'redder' or more noticeable/prominent lately and my eyes have been really tired and dry.

I'm thinking about going to the eye dr for it. I need a new prescription for contact lenses anyhow. Does anyone know if I need to go to an ophthalmologist for this or an optometrist?

I think it's an ophthalmologist

I do find myself on LIW more and more the closer it gets to the wedding.

Are you practicing wearing your contacts again??? I actually DO notice it on me but I think it's a combination of lack of sleep and allergies!!

Carrie Ann, are you sure it's not the alcohol to cope with the wedding stress?

I have to start again! The disposable ones I had are now expired.........so I have to add a contact lens fitting to the to-do list.

But I also need some sort of drops to get rid of the bloodshot eyes!!! I don't know if it's safe to use Visine with contacts?!

oh, my eyes totally bug out if I try to use the computer with my contacts on. I think it's because the contacts I had before didn't correct for my astigmatism in order to keep the lenses thinner or more breathable or something.
