UPDATE! 10/10 Pics! Well I FINALLY got my furniture I ordered in April from Rooms Unlimited and..........!

AND ITS DAMAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously DAMAGED and I paid about $1000 for this lingerie chest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so mad - Im having DH call in a few days because honestly I am just not mean enough. They need a good hollerin at and I know he can do it! I also contacted the BBB before and thats why it actually got delivered. But now they want a follow up and its not going to be pretty!!!!! I am so frustated! I am not RICH and if I pay $1,000 for something brand new I expect it to be flawless!! I am soo angry!!! I'll try to attach a pic when my camera charges. Theres 2 nails and a screw sticking out and a chunk of wood missing out of it etc...

you really need to call the store immediately.did you sign off on the piece or did you note there was damage? If you did not note the damage and have not called they may fight you. Call the manager asap.

Oh NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Do NOT let them get away with this. In a very calm but firm voice (if you yell they might hang up), let them know that you are not only reporting them to the BBB, but you are calling Help Me Howard, 7 On Your Side, and every other MEDIA forum with the power to PUBLICLY expose them for the rats they are, then DO IT. Especially Howard. He LOVES doing this kind of stuff.

In the meantime, so sorry this happened. Keep us posted, and hang in there!

Call the store and send a certified return receipt letter. you may want to take them to small claims court. they often say that they were not notified in time and it will be your word against theirs. and don't hestitate to eventually go to small claims court.

Omg Amy, that's terrible!!!!!! I know what you're saying about paying $1K and expecting something to be perfect!!!!

It would be one thing if it was just you and Anthony, but with 2 young boys at home you can't have nails sticking out of the furniture!!!!!

hey amy i just thought about u today with scumbags unlimited, i was wondering how it turned out for u, i wonder how they are still in business. i never resolved all my problems with them, i just gave up trying!! you need someone brave to go IN the store and YELL for you, that's what my husband's aunt had to do.

Funny you asked! So the lingerie chest was DAMAGED. They sent someone to look at it to see if it could be fixed. My husband told them we want it replaced so TODAY they sent a replacement! Sounds great right??!! Guess what!!


The guy comes off the truck and says Im here to replace your chest, but.... I was unloading it and I noticed that ITS DAMAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't accept the replacement. I had a HUGE problem with Jennifer weather (which has so many complaints with the District Attorney). I only agree to take THE 5TH REPLACEMENT. All the replacementSSSSS came scratched.

I did not leave them alone until it was done. It took 8 months but I was not about to give up!!!!

Well I havent yet. I am really bummed! Like I said it was my first big purchase (besides my car). I was totally psyched, I shopped around for so long, I finally found what I wanted and now this. What a headache!
