23 Vials of blood drawn today!!!

23 Vials of blood drawn today!!!

No joke - I had my glucose and blood tests today - they test for EVERYTHING! every known genetic test imaginable....

It hurt like a b!tch too because my veins are difficult to draw blood from - they took from one arm, then it stopped... then they drew from the other arm, until it stopped... Finally they got the most from a little vein in my hand - I was crying for most of it - took almost 40 minutes!!!

Please pray that all the tests come back healthy and with only good news!!!

aaawww, Liza!!!!!!!! I'll pray with you that everything will come back normal for you and the baby!! In the mean time, drink lots of water and have DH take good care of you and dote on you hand and foot. You are carrying his baby, you know!

yikes! i dreaded the blood drawing visits...i would beg them not to. they just laughed and stabbed me...one time, about 3 weeks later, i went to dinner [and it was just about when the extra body weight started to make me hotter than most people] so i wore short sleeves...but it was cold outside, so i wore a jacket. i took the jacket off just as the waiter came...i thought he'd fall over. he looked at my 'elmpit' [as i call that space on the 'inner' elbow] and asked 'are you alright?' you should've seen the look on his face when i said, 'huh? oh, that's 3 weeks old. they took blood for tests.'

i agree with sophie..you vomited away most of the bad stuff!
