HELP!! tying a favor bow...
How do you do it? I've looked for other posts but still cant determine the best way.Tying it around the favor in a bow isn't working, even using the bunny ear method!
The only way it seems I can do it is by making a bow (with no knot...crossing the two ends over, then bringing the top of the loop down to the middle) and then glueing it together, and then tying a piece of wire around the middle, then affixing it to the favor.
Any other ideas? Glueing is going to be such a hassle!!
TIA!

I do the last way you said. crossing the two ends over each other and then pulling the center down but I don't glue it. I just wire it together. It take a little practice but once you get the hang of it it's really easy and you can avoid burning yourself with a hot glue gun!

I bought the wire and tried it and it came out just OK.....i suppose I should keep trying... I wonder if the wire I bought is too thin..its very hard to get it tight around the middle of the bow.

Re: HELP!! tying a favor bow...
here's what i did:on the 'front/top' side i placed the ribbon, flipped it over and tied a X [like when you tie your sneakers], then i flipped it back to the front where there is now a flat piece of ribbon, i slid each end of ribbon UNDER this and made another X. then i just made a bow. it was VERY secure and after the first 10, very simple. no wiring or gluing.
