Okay ladies... Help me decide on a Signature Drink once and for all!!
Color and Taste are key...My main color is wine/burgundy.
(no, I don't want my signature drink to be wine... lol).
We met at a Mexican restaurant, so we can play with that.
We're going to Disney World on our Honeymoon.
Our reception is on a Beach.
It's in the Fall (November).
I'd like them to be in martini glasses.
Any suggestions... I'm clueless when it comes to drinks!

Cosmos are reddish... sorry, that's all i got.Since you don't want wine, I guess Sangria would be out?

Re: Okay ladies... Help me decide on a Signature Drink once and for all!!
I would have said cosmos too, but they are more reddish than wine color. Since it is on a beach what do you think of having your signature drink be a frozen one? A strawberry frozen margarita would be too reddish, but maybe a raspberry one or something?HTH!!
Good luck.

I think you can do any type of drink you like, and play with the name -like serve a 'love potion' or one of those crazy blue drinks and call it 'something blue'

We're doing a raspberry martini and a watermelon one, since our colors are burgundy and lime green. Raspberry ones are so good!

Re: Okay ladies... Help me decide on a Signature Drink once and for all!!
I'm also doing burgundy. However, our signature drink is an apple martini. Why? Because every party we go to FH winds up bringing all the fixin's for them and stands there and plays bartender.Mind you, there is NO green at my wedding (to the point that I asked the florist to pull the leaves off the alstromeria in the CPs), but the drink is about him (and us), not my wedding colors.
For you two, I would play up the meeting at a mexican resteraunt with some sort of frozen drink in the martini glass.

Re: Okay ladies... Help me decide on a Signature Drink once and for all!!
something with cranberries or raspberries to get that flavor. my favorite is to do your standard mojito, then muddle in some raspberries with it.3 sprig mint
1 tsp sugar
muddle mint and sugar together
add 1 tbsp lime juice and rapsberries to taste (and for color), mix
add 1 shot light rum
1 shot tonic
shake up/mix
top off with a few leaves of mint and a raspberry
you can also add some cranberry juice or play around with other red things to make the color darker.
i LOVE mojitos!
