Bridezillas has me thinking... What would YOU do if a vendor stood you up on your wedding day?

I was watching the latest episode of Bridezillas where that flake of a florist was a no-show for the bride on her wedding day, and then didn't answer any calls.

I don't know what I would do. Well, I guess I would thank GOD I had a DOC (Rosalie) to handle it for me instead of dealing with the stress myself like that bride had to do, but as far as the aftermath. I think I would be LIVID and want to KILL a vendor for not showing (not 'call the cops kill', but you know what I mean...).

I just feel like 'getting your money back' isn't enough for ruining a bride's day like that. I mean, that bride was no picnic, but NO BRIDE deserves to not have any FLOWERS on her wedding day! Her mind couldn't even concentrate on her vows because all she could think about were the special things she had planned for her flowers, including the special presentations she had planned for the moms, which no one told the (moron) preacher about who went ahead with that part of the flower presentation - despite there being no flowers to give. She was so thrown off by the flowers, she messed up her vows!

How can a vendor ruin a bride's day like that??

I was just wondering what brides out there would do if that happened to you? Or maybe it DID happen to you? What did you do on that day and when you got back from your honeymoon to deal with it?

I can only hope I'd be able to hold it together enough to not go completely crazy on my wedding day....

After the wedding, I'd be on the warpath. I'd be posting reviews of the vendor on any wedding website I could find, reporting them to the better business bureau, definitely demanding my money back and possibly taking them to small claims court for damages.

Hell hath no fury like a bride scorned!

I would do a news story on them. I threatened this when I had a problem with my BM dresses, but they resolved it before I told all of NY. They get a bit nervous when they find out you work in TV.

I heard a few brides that never got their limo on the day of. Last I knew, they were fighting with the companies.

I would HOPE that I could push that aside for that day and still be in the moment - still remember that the day is not all about the flowers and the things like that, but is about me and Todd...

But I know that's EASIER SAID THAN DONE!

That's just awful. I'm not sure what I'd do. I'd try to roll with it, but when I talked to the florist eventually, I'd be livid.

Re: Bridezillas has me thinking... What would YOU do if a vendor stood you up on your wedding day?

I would have to deal with it. I would be upset... but then I would move on past it.

Flowers? I guess I would go to a local florist and beg them to get something thrown together. And then smile and make the best of it.

After the wedding? I would write on EVERY on line community I could find about our miserable experience. I would go to bridal shows and shout it from the rooftops NOT to use that vendor. I would be FURIOUS.
