Good bye, but not for long!

Wow! I never thought the day would ever get here. I just finished my last to do list for the wedding of things that need to be done over the next 48 hours. I still can't believe I'm getting married on Saturday! It really does sneak up on you.

My first (and hopefully only) thing to go wrong happened this evening - somehow the hotel lost my parent's hotel reservation - so I have company for a few days until this is straightened out and we go through my paper work from the hotel. Not the worst thing to happen, but I'm going with the flow of things!

First and foremost, I have to thank Ron and Liz for creating this amazing web site! Because of the two of you, someone who knew no one before moving to LI except for her FH and his family, has a family of close friends that I can depend on, call on, vent to, drink with, and just plain old have fun with! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!!!

To those of you who posted your DIY projects - thank you for giving me the will and creative power to do this on my own with some help (thanks cindyandkevin). I can't wait to see everything being put to use!!

And lastly - my LIW girls! There are so many of you that have touched my lives in one way or another. To call you each out would make this go on for pages - but you know who you are and what you mean to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and FHs) for staying by our side, supporting us through our ups and downs, and most of all - for being our friend! To my girls who I will see Saturday - I can't wait!!! I am trully honored that you will be there to help celebrate in our wedding day!!!

And one last note - I will be back next week. Due to work constraints, no long vacation for us until this winter, so I'll be back sometime next week to see photos and share stories!

what an adorable thank you/good-bye from such a sweet gal! can't wait to take your pics, photoshop them and display them all over LIW. [by photoshop i do mean make your face green or remove teeth...KIDDING!] it's going to be an amazing day, no matter what, because you are marrying your prince...just keep that in mind, that you are marrying the man of your dreams, your soulmate, your best friend. all the other stuff doesn't matter...the to do lists, the hotels, the wrong food...it just won't matter in the end...and eventually you'll be able to laugh at all the hard times and see that it made you stronger.
