NWR-DO ANY BRIDES LIVE IN EAST MEADOW???

If you do you need to go to your board of education meeting on 9/21/06 at 8pm at Salisbury Center (718 Plain Rd)

Support your teachers. It is now their 3rd year and no contract. What is going on!?!?

You need to see what is going on with your town and education!!

I don't live in East Meadow but I am glad to hear you guys are going to Board Meetings and stuff.

We started last school year in Farmingdale without a contract and we went to board meetings and had one by April.

omg we have been goingto board meeting since 3 yrs ago. Doesnt seem to do much! We need more community members to come! THe board is so condescending to the teachers and the community members!

the year before last....the board walked out of the meeting as a community member was speaking!

There are TABOO words! Negotiations, contract! If you say these words on the mic they will not continue speaking to you!

IT IS BAD!

Yikes I didn't realize how bad it was. Your board sounds worse than ours. I am sorry to hear that. You definitely need some young East Meadow people to support the teacher as well.

I hope so! We need all the help we can get. I just can't believe how bad it has become.

I feel bad for the kids of East Meadow. We are losing A TON of great teachers!

I was born in East Meadow but I don't live there now-- sorry I can't help more-- but I do hope that you guys get a lot of support-- you deserve it!!!!!

my parents live in east meadow and my sisters and i are products of the EMSD. i'll tell my parents to make sure they attend, especially since DH and I are looking for houses in EM and so are my sisters.

The budget passes without a problem everytime but now it is the 3rd year with no contract!

The question is where is that money going???
