venue floor plan question

this is a question that i will also be emailing to my doc.

this is the floorplan of my venue. we are having the ceremony and the reception in the same place.

on the pic i've attached, i marked where the main events will be taking place. i'm having a small wedding, less than 80 ppl.

this is my question, from the way the place is shaped, do you think that we should be introduced while people are still mingling and standing or should we wait for your guests to be seated.

the curved wall between the 5 tables and the dancefloor is windows, but i'm not sure if i want my guests that separate from the 'action'. i also don't want to make ppl stand for too long during our first dance.

comments would be greatly appreciated.

Re: venue floor plan question

I think usually the DJ has all the guests standing on the edge of the dance floor when your introduced. So I say Standing!!!!!!!!
