NWR: Anyone know a good dog trainer?

My pup has decided lately that if he wakes up in the middle of the night, that it should be play time, and barks until FH or I wake up to play with him. I NEED SLEEP!! Anyone know a good trainer?

Re: NWR: Anyone know a good dog trainer?

how old is he? my puppy did that for a few weeks but soon realized that it isnt play time during the night....we just ignored it and he stopped they are just looking for attention.....i would give it sometime if you can handle it rather than waste all that money on a trainer if he is that young

Re: NWR: Anyone know a good dog trainer?

We usually leave the bedroom door open for him so he can stay in the living room, or the beroom. He usually ends up sleeping on the bed with us, but sometimes he sleeps in his bed. Does this matter?

Re: NWR: Anyone know a good dog trainer?

well, my dog was a pain in the butt with waking up for a period of time when he was in our room and then we started leaving him downstairs with the tv on and all his toys-(bedrooms upstairs), he never bothered us

Re: NWR: Anyone know a good dog trainer?

The Puppy Store in N. Merrick. They have a trainer on site. Super nice guy. We bought our puppies from them and give us some many advises.
