Save the Date question
How far in advance did some of you send out your STD? I'd like to send mine out now - less than 8 months to go!

Mine went out in March. We gave the out as one of the favors for the engagement party. And also sent them to anyone who sent us a gift.

Id say 8 months is ok, we did 1 year b/c half the wedding is OOT guests...

It is usually a year to 9-months beforeIf it is a holiday weekend, I would send them ASAP

I just sent mine out today for our June 3rd wedding. So I guess thats like 8 1/2 months to go.

It's on Mother's Day weekend, so i guess that's a holiday weekend.

I'm sending them in mid October, so about 11 months from the wedding.

I sent mine yesterday. So about 9 months in advance. We have a ton of OOT people though.
