Anyone getting a plain-ish, simple wedding band?

I want a simple thin platinum band and Im looking for ideas. I dont want diamonds in it or any other kind of gem. I love my solitaire E-ring and want it to stand out with a simple band.. Is my only option a solid metal? Are there platinum with designs that dont have extra stones?

Anyone else doing this? Have pics?

my sister does. i dont have pics though.
she has a round solitare and a reg. band. she was never a jewelery person. it looks very nice- its timeless!

YES!!! we got someone to customize our platinum one in the style of Cartier's Love ring. way cheaper than buying from cartier and a lot more 'metal for ur money~!'

a big hit item in Asia right now Cartier prices up their items every April too so if you plan on getting something from them, do it before April!!!

Here's a thin platinum band with detailing...found it on my jeweler's site...he also has more to choose from at his booth in the diamond district...

Bottom is one I love from Tiffany's (Elsa Peretti)...may have my jeweler make one as an 'everyday' band for when I don't want to wear my eternity band & e-ring.

definetly not, my wedding band has to match my e ring.....this is the band that i will be getting.

I'm definately getting a simple one. I like some of the ones that prettyprincess posted. I really like my e-ring and i want something really thin beside it. I think BlueNile will also be it for me.

I don't have pics yet.. ill send you some in three weeks when they come in.. but me and FH are getting matching non diamond wedding bands... they are in white gold (but they do come in platnim)...
its a solid band with an etched middle type thing so has a tiny bit of sparkle.. ill see if i can find a pic on the web...the etching makes it a little more fancy then the plain band but not overwhelming
i totally get how you feel i dindt want something to overwhelm my engagment ring

(i am getting a CZ eternity band if i want to be uber dressy for a formal event one day )...

I'm in the same boat as you.
FH and I went to a local (in MA) jeweler by him and they showed us very lovely tungsten carbide rings. Sorry I don't have any pics, but you could always google it.
Also Titanium is also a good choice.
