PEOPLE TO DONATE BLOOD AND PLATLETS. MY SONS SCHOOL SENT ME A NOTICE TODAY. HE'S 14 AND GOES TO SCHOOL WITH MY SON AND UNFORTUNETLY IS GOING TO SLOAN KETTERING FOR TREATMENTS. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HELP PLEASE FM ME FOR MORE INFO. I TALKED TO DH AND WE ARE GETTING THE FAMILY TOGETHER AND GOING ASAP. IT'S HORRIBLE WHEN ANYONE HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS BUT IT'S WORSE TO ME WHEN IT'S A CHILD.

***Just spoke to the woman who sets up the appts. to donate for him and set an appt. for DH, my daughter and myself for next Monday. The woman said that she will be making appts. for along time for him so I figured anyone still interested you can give anytime. Also wanted to say thanks to all that FM'd for the info. and to let me know that he will be in alot of prayers(just as important)so I'll have my son pass it on to his family. The woman at sloan also gave the criteria for donating so I'll pass it on as well to anyone who needs it****

JUST GOT DONE WITH LIF. THANKS IM SURE HE AND HIS FAMILY COULD USE THEM. IF YOU COULD MAYBE PASS IT ON TO OTHERS WHO MIGHT BE WILLING TO DONATE THAT WOULD BE GREAT TOO! FEEL BETTER

if i was able too do it....i would! Sadly i have some of my own blood clotting issues that doesnt allow me too do it!!

Thanks ladies for bumping the thread to keep it going. Not that it matters but my son said he's a really nice kid and was one of the first to help my son to adjust to moving into a new school. I called to make my appt. today but the lady handling it is not there until Monday.

bump...Just want to say that it's great how many are inquiring about info. Even if you cant help maybe you can pass the info to people you know to help. This kid is not someone I know personally but he is a friend of my sons and I'd love to see him have alot of support to maybe give him and his family a good Christmas.
