Weekly post for 10/02 to 10/08

Hello ladies!! Hows everyone doing? Fall is in full swing now!! What is everyone up to?

I was just reminiscing how just one year ago I was gearing up for my wedding which was just a few days away.
As I come close to my 1st year anniversary I am not only reminded how much I love my husband, but how truly lucky I am to have been a part of the 05 group! I cant thank you enough for all the help, encouragement and friendship you all showered me with. Much love to you all!!!

Hi all,
I can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks. DH got a huge promotion at work and a phat raise. I am so proud of him, they created the position just for him! This news means that the prospect of me staying home for the rest of the shool year after the baby is born is looking better and better!

I'm loving my day off...DH got the day off too so we spent it together shopping. He actually was helping me find things to wear- he's so good like that!

This week will actually be calmer than usual- no grad school due to Jewish holidays, no lesson plans due to the principal and Im looking forward to my friend's wedding on the 8th!

All is well here. Rob's doing very well. I have fallen into a groove at school, and I am really enjoying teaching. The first year is a lot of work but I love the students and am having a lot of fun getting to know them. The only drawback is that I am crazy busy & I am very tired all the time from keeping up with the kids!

I can't believe it's already October!

I'm just crazy busy with school and various weekend plans. I'm supposed to be heading up to NY this weekend... unless I get DH's cold... In which case I'm staying put!

Hi Ladies- haven't been on here in a LONG time.
Congrats on your anniversary, Diva!

I am waiting the arrival of my new baby on Jan. 6th and enjoying the school year until then.

Hi everyone!! Still training for my new job. I like what I do but the hours and pay are not making me a happy camper! In two weeks I have to spend a whole week in jersey... my first week away from DH in almost 9 yaers! I am still looking for something new... we just can't seem to catch a break!

Busy weekend ahead- I will see Debs (DON'T CATCH A COLD!) when we go out for our LIF prize! Two birthdays and a baby shower to celebrate!

I can't wait to see you all next weekend!!!

Hi All!
Busy here...as usual. Just added to it by taking on a second job, but this one is for my sanity above all else! I'd do it full time, but can't afford to! Isn't that ALWAYS the case!
Looking forward to the GTG...hoping my 2nd job won't need me that day, but if they do I'm sure I'll see you all soon.

I can't believe the chaos that was my life one year ago either!! I am so glad that is over.

I'm finalizing anniversary plans: we have a baby class Saturday morning, then seeing Wicked here in Chicago (matinee), then dinner. On our actual anniversay (Sunday) we're planning on brunch at the Four Seasons, watching the wedding video again and possibly something fun depending on the weather - maybe an architecture cruise on the Chicago river. I was really hoping we'd be going away, but the baby changed all of that!

I was just thinking the same thing - 1 year ago October brides were gearing up for the big day.
It's weird how fast a year goes by. Believe it or not, I am still working on finishing some wedding stuff (too embarassed to say what). It was a hard year w/ construction and then the passing of my grandma.
Trying to catch up now.

Hiya Ladies!!!

All the fall stuff is out and in full swing and I keep thinking about where I was last year! So funny!

Kev and I are super!! He's been on days, so we've actually had a 'normal' life for the past three weeks. We're quasi-Ozzie and Harriet these days - I should try wearing pearls and heels around the house while cleaning and making dinner! Actually, maybe I should try cleaning first!

I'm looking forward to meeting you at the GTG on the 14th. I'm a little bit nervous!

Hi all...glad to hear everyone is doing well...unfortunately this hasn't been the greatest time for me..I am having major problems at my doctoral internship site right now but DH is so amazingly supportive...I couldn't do it without him.
