Sept. 01 Brides that postponed Honeymoon Plans
I am just curious about this. I know many of us changed and or postponed our Honeymoon Plans and some of us (myself included) were thinking of postponing until our 1st Anniversary. If you fall into this group are you still planning on the same trip you originaly planned? Or have you changed plans completely or have other things come up (home purchases, babies etc.)? Thanks

We were going to do the same thing -- redo our originial trip to the Canary Islands -- but we have changed that and are going to go to the Caribbean instead. Think we are going to St. John sometime in the summer. We still felt a bit uncomfortable flying to Spain and all. We would be on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and the closest land is Africe, specifically Morocco. So I think we'll wait to do that trip another time.

My husband and I went on a road trip instead of our Tahiti honeymoon and had an awesome time. It was the perfect honeymoon all things considered. We went to Stowe Vermont and Bar Harbor Maine. We do plan on going to Tahiti one day probably for an anniversary. We are off to Jamaica in a few weeks. I can let you know how that goes. What are your plans?

We took a road trip to Disney instead of our planned Monaco/Italy trip. Now we are thinking about Vegas/Hawaii for our 1st Anniversary instead. I still really want to go to Monaco/Italy but its just not the same. Staying in the US has a little more apeal right now. But to tell the truth I am not as excited as I thought I would be to plan this trip.

I know what you mean?
I really want to plan our trip but this time there isn't the same umph behind it since it's not really the honeymoon. We want to stay a bit more local too that's why we are planning to go to St. John or another US Virgin Island. But I'm planning to act like a honeymooner -- whenever we do go.Welcome New Vendors
