While all of the 06 girls are getting pregnant or trying....

I'm going back on birth control for the first time in about 3 years.

I was actually excited because I couldn't go on BC until I had my gallbladder out because the last time I tried to go on it, I got violently ill.

They put me on Yasmin since apparently they don't recommend the patch anymore due to blood clots.

I can't be the only one not ready to get pregnant yet!!!

We are waiting until next year. I don't want to try to deal with a pregnancy while my mom is sick. I don't want the extra stress.

DITTO....I want to enjoy married life for a bit first. Not knocking the girls who are getting prego right away but once you have kids...you have them for life. Your life is never the same again as my mom keeps reminding me....in a good way of course but you NEVER come first anymore! I'm just not ready for that yet. My FH and I love to travel...we go on at least 3 trips a year...SO not ready to give that up yet!

But kudos to the girls who are ready!!!

I'm not looking to get pregnant. I can't stand the pill, it makes me really sick. What I use is the controceptive flim. Its a large dose of spermaside and its great! I love it. I haven't gotten pregnant while using it. Its wonderul, and you use it when your about to 'go to bed.' If you want more info, FM me.

Yeah, we are going to wait for about 3-5 years....we're still in school. He's finishing up his bachelors and me my masters so after that enjoy eachother a little more then start trying to have some little munchkins.

Its amazing, I waited my entire life to be a wife and a mother. I did not think it would take this long to become a wife but thats what the plan was for me. I feel I can enjoy my marriage just as easily with a child - probably more. I am really looking forward to it.

NO babies here for about 2 years please....

we want to travel and see so many places, and DHS job requires travels right now-for the next 17 months...we are really enjoying eachother and being selfish-we have time to become parents, now is not the 'right time' for us

you ladies are cracking me up!

this baby is a complete surprise! granted we will love 'it' dearly...we already do and it's microscopic! as far as life changing, well, it means sleepless nights are BACK...since we have a 5 year old, our life is already 'over.'

we'd honestly decided with how our careers were going to wait another year and well, someone had other plans!

my biggest piece of advice to those warding off the stork: go into each day, each week and each month with an OPEN mind because you never know...you just never know. that was kind of our philosophy...while we weren't really 'trying' at this time, we were not NOT trying and thus this surprise was less of a shock to the system. what if we'd been adamantly against it right now in our lives? we'd be devastated and upset instead of happy. believe me, i know from experience the mental anguish of loving a life inside of you that you really weren't ready for...i do have a 5 year old!

to the 06ers who've managed to avoid the fertile internet connection that is LIW, best of luck staying that way if it's your wish and best of luck to those who wish to join the bulging belly club...it's a blessed road either way!
