? About after party

Our reception is over at 10:30. I want to announce at the end of it, that if anyone wants to meet us at hotel bar where we are staying they are welcome to. Is the bride & groom supposed to pick up the bar tab?

Nope. The bride and groom do not pick up the tab. People understand they pay for themselves!

Hmm I never thought about that. Our wedding is ending at midnight, but we are going back to the hotel bar as well. I wonder if we should pick up the bill.

For FH's cousin's wedding we went back to a bar and we just payed for ourselves.

You do not have to pay...
they will pay for themselves...
at my wedding(we did not go to the after party at the bar-but many people did) and one of my mom and dad's friends picked up the entire tab for the bar-about 30+ people!It was very nice of him

at my cousins wedding everyone who went to the bar at the hotel paid their own way. But i do think ppl took turns paying for rounds!

No, I put it on the direction cards & website that those looking to 'continue the fun at the hotel bar'...that option X hotel was the one to stay at since we offered 2 choices & had shuttle service going to/from that one location only..people got the drift

It actually didn't work out since the GCM screwed us and we had to send out word that the shuttle changed to a new location....etc. Still worked out and people had a blast!
