Re: Themes...

We're doing an ocean/sailboat theme. You can see pics of my STD and favor in my album. We're also planning on naming our tables after different bodies of water like Atlantic, Pacific, LI Sound..etc.

it really isn't necessary at all....dont stress yourself out trying to connect everything....if u really want the castle cake get something else like invitations or favors to match it but it doesnt have to grow into everything connecting into a theme...only if u want it to

Re: Themes...UPDATED...

You definitely don't have to have a theme. I've been to a lot of weddings and have NEVER seen a themed wedding. Ours isn't themed either.

It's definitely a personal thing though.

If you can post a picture of your cake, then we might be able to help you out a bit more :)

Re: Themes...UPDATED...

i don't think you NEED a theme at all!

try the 'theme weddings' board, and maybe you can find some ideas!

we're not having a theme really.... we're just using certain colors and adding beachy accents,
