Guess what...

My MOH just sent out my shower invites this week and three things are already missing off my registry...the problem is that one of the items wasnt put there by me or my fi. hmmmm what do u think happened?

I'm not sure where you're registered....but if someone buys something for you from Macy's, but it's not on your registry...they will add it so that you get the 5% back in Macys credit. We had a bunch of people who mentioned that we were registered there, but that the item wasn't on our list so the cashier just added it so that we got the store credit percentage.... just a thought...

i registered at bbb and macys and thought i still had some time to tweak it a bit...then i see bbb has 3 items gone but 1 is a duplicate only i registered for chrome and the white has been purchased??? do u think someone got me white instead b/c chrome was out? that would kinda suck - kinda cause its free so who am i to say? but weird nonetheless

i know i said i wouldn't peak...but i had too....someone bought one of my bedding sets!!!!

so far my flatware, crock pot, blender/processor, baking pans, cookie decorator and 1 bedding set have been purchased..whoo hoo...

sorry couldn't contain myself and if i tell anyone that im peeking, i'll get in trouble...

if its BBB....what they do is if someone buys it it will say under Requested 0 but purschase is 1...they add items on to your reg that you didnt choose bc this way if you want to return you can get cash back!
i had a few items like that as well..dont delete them until after your shower..otherwise you only get store credit!

I have items like that too, anything the person is purchasing when your registry is scanned shows up on your registry, whether you requested it or not.

I now have some halloween yankee candles on my registry, I'm thinking the shopper bought those for themselves when they were getting my registry gift.

I have 3 dustbusters as well since there was a similar model one that was the same price as the one I registered for but it had a different sku number. So i have two 'wrong' ones and one 'right' one.

it's fun thinking about people shopping for things we earmarked...it's like the best christmas ever...lol. anyway, thanks for the tips and advice. i'll keep the items on there till after the shower next month!!!

looks like someone bought you whatever was in stock---and then they added it to the registry. BBB and Macy's does that!

you can always bring back the one they gave you, and exchange it for the chrome if you really want the chrome one. (i registered for that chrome mixer too!)

very exciting to see things come off though right
