Limos- Sorry its long

Ok I am trying to think of the best way to set up my limos. I really have no clue how this works. I am getting married at 3:30 at the church in bay shore then 7:30 is my reception in Lindenhurst.

Could you girls let me know what you think I should do.

This is what I am thinking I should get a 8-10 passanger limo to pick up the girls from my house in bay shore and bring to the church. A party bus to pick up the boys in bay shore and bring to the church. After the church I want to go with my whole BP in the party bus go take pictures and then have the Party Bus drop us off at 7:00 at my RH. Do our parents come with us to take pictures after the church? Should they take the 8-10 passanger and follow us? Then I want the party bus to pick us up from the reception and drop my whole BP off in Bay shore and maybe drop us off where ever we are going to stay.

Does this sound right? Please help!! Thanks

Re: Limos- Sorry its long

Well MY limo company is for 3 hours.. He'll pick us up at 2:30 for church at 3, then church is about an hour give or take, and then we're going straight to the RH to take pix on their grounds. The 3 hours is PLENTY of time for us. You might want to ask how much extra per hour if you exeed the time limit.

As for the limo, I would keep it and send parents over in it. Afterall, you do have them for a certain amount of hours so you may as well take advantage of it and use it to the max...

Parents typically dont take pix between church and reception. Since we're having our pix taken on the grounds, we'll probably have my parents step in for a few, but thats only bc they will be there anyway... Its really your preference, your day, you decide!

Ok thanks. I will figure something out. I am just bored at work and brainstorming on ideas.

Re: Limos- Sorry its long

Ok so I was in the same dilema, here is what we did.

Getting to the church, they are all on their own. I know it sounds bad but thats how it is. I am taking an antique 1929 phaton to the church with my mom. 'Boys and girls are just getting there. I might call my limo comp about this since it sounds bad (haha).

Then we rented a limo bus to pick everyone up at the church (3pm) and take us all (mom, sisters, bp, gm fil's) to the reception hall for pics. It will then get guests at the hotel and bring them to the RH for CH (6:30pm). It will stay all day and do runs to the hotel if anyone wants plus take everyone at the end back to the hotel.

It worked out to be the most monetarily efficent way to just have the bus all day.
