Whats involved with going to Men's Warehouse to pick out tuxes?

We are going to go to Men's Warehouse next month to look at tuxes. I wanted to get as much info from you girls to prep FH.

Do you look at books to pick the colors? Do they have samples of everything? Does someone work with you to pick stuff out? We are clueless and really dont know what we want....

Re: Whats involved with going to Men's Warehouse to pick out tuxes?

I haven't gone there yet with my Fh to pick out tuxes, but I did go with them when they picked out tuxes for my brother's wedding (which was this past June)

They did have a lot of sample vests so you can see the colors, as well as books... definitely take a look at everything... I had picked out a sample vest that I liked, but my SIL wasn't thrilled out... she then picked out something from the book... ended up being the same thing... it looked much better when seen altogether (its like a half-vest sample) and looked phenomenal at the wedding!

They don't have as many choices as some of the other places i've heard of, but they are convenient and less expensive. The women who handled us wasn't the best service-wise either (she wasn't rude or anything, just really flighty, so be sure to pay attention to whats goin on) - but in the end we had no problems with anything, and we'll most likely be using MW also.

Re: Whats involved with going to Men's Warehouse to pick out tuxes?

I used them and it was painless. neither of us know anything about tuxes - they had lots of books that showed the styles and then you pick colors for the vest etc. the girl i worked with was very helpful and gave us advice and guidance.
much less painless than bridesmaid dress shopping thats for sure.

i had a pretty good experience with them too and everything came in perfect

good luck

(we used the one in melville by the mall)
