Table Ideas for a Summer Garden Wedding

Besides flowers, does anyone have ideas! My centerpieces are roses - so I don't want to do different flowers as names of tables. I was going to do #'s but wanted to throw this post out there!

Also, I don't know if we have enough pictures of my fiance for the years until the year we met! I'm going to check that out - but other suggestions, would be great!

I am having each table named after a city or location we visited. Someone on this board actually gave me that idea

Then on each table I am going to have a description of what we did or saw at that particular location. We have travelled a lot through the years so I have enough to cover all the tables.
Maybe you can do something like that.

That's what I did -- the city names and a description on each table. The guests really liked it.

For a summer wedding you could do anything -- do you and your husband share any hobbies? You could names that have to do with your hobby.

The city names -- even if others have used that idea -- is unique for each couple so I think that idea always works.

I heard about doing names of different light houses...I thought that was cool, but it may seem out of place with your theme...which is what?? I don't have a theme myself, so anything would work on my tables!!

Cira...that is my theme too, but I am most likely using the different flower names...

but I'm just going to shoot off ideas here...

things that remind you of summer...

fresh cut grass
ice cream cones
the beach
sun kissed hair

just brainstorming...

Thanks ladies, but I was thumbing through his baby pictures yesterday and was able to find pictures for each year from the year I was born (he is older) until this year, which would be our table!

I love that idea and will be doing that - I think! Now, I need to thumb through my pictures!

Another question though - did each of you buy your own frames, or borrow the numbered one from the hall? How big of a frame too?

Also, if anyone else is doing pictures - I was thinking of scanning and printing the pictures out - that should work, right?
