Tried my dress on last night!

Tried my dress on last night!

I went to Renates and tried on my dress! It was so fun! Everyone there was really helpful... I had on my dress, and Donna asked me if I was gonna wear a slip... now i'm not a poufy person at all, so I was not planning on wearing anything... and I told her this, but she suggested I try on a small one just to keep the shape of the dress better, so I listened and tried it on and it looked great! It did not add anything in terms of fullness.. kept it straight a-line style, but kept the dress from like falling in. Also, I'm wearing flat shoes, so they ordered me the 'petitte' size... mind you, i'm 5'6', and it was pretty much the perfect length! ... we didnt do the corset all the way, so once I go to an actual fitting and have it all done right, we'll see... it'll need to be taken in on top, but otherwise it was all good! I also got the 'official' maggie certificate, i'm an official owner of a maggie soterro dress, hahaha

My headpiece matched the dress really well, and my veils looked great with it too! (I'm wearing my moms veils)

After I tried all my stuff on, my mom tried on some dresses for her... cause she doesnt have a dress yet... we narrowed it down to 3, but I think we both have the same favorite of the 3... we didnt order it yet,cause its $500 and we're goign to PA to do some fun outlet shopping this weekend... we're gonna see if we can find anything out there, but if not... she'll probably order that dress!

All in all a productive and great afternoon!

How exciting about trying on your dress! Have fun at the outlets in PA. FH & I were there last month and had a ball.

Congrats!!! Maggie dresses are stunning. A Maggie dress was a runner up for me but I had to go with my Private Label G. Sounds like you and your Mom had such a fun afternoon.
