Re: Brides wearing strapless dresses
I had a great facial from Jackie (Imakeup). I plan on getting another over the summer and in late Sept.

Re: Brides wearing strapless dresses
Well, I need answers to that too, but for one thing, I'm going to start going to the Tanning salon in June. My wedding is in August. I'm not wearing a strapless gown, I'm wearing spaghetti straps, it shows almost as much skin as strapless. I know when I'm tan, my skin looks healthier believe it or not. I think so, and everyone else thinks so too. I also think that if you're tan, it helps to hide all the little marks, bumps, etc. if you get any. I would also like some other opinions on skin care, since I have about 3 months left. I want to start now. Thanks!

Re: Brides wearing strapless dresses
This may sound stupid, but what exactly is a facial good for? I know what it basically does, but maybe you can give me info in more detail. Thanks Michelle.

Re: Brides wearing strapless dresses
I went on an organic diet the week before my wedding. Its organic brown rice, steamed veggies, green tea and miso soup. I usually do it for three days every few months. Its very cleansing and makes my skin clear up. I actually get comments on how my skin is glowing while I'm on it. Just beware that its cleansing - so you'll visit the Bathroom a few times. Also, you may shed a few pounds - you don't want the dress to be too loose!

just be careful
I had my first facial a couple months ago and I broke out and didnt like the way my skin looked, maybe it ws just too harsh for my sensitive skin but those of you planning on doing it, try and get one before hand to see how your skin reacts, you dont want to try it for the first time the day before the wedding and have an irritated face ahhhh!

Facials
So, when you get your facial do they do shoulders and arms too? I'm more worried about that than my face. I want to glow!!!

Re: Facials
I'm going to make sure I tan -- both in a salon and in the sun (so I don't get orange + it'll be a base for my honeymoon in Maui).Besides that -- I've been workin out & losing weight so my collarbones stick out (I was a size 16/18 when we got engaged & I'm an 7/8 now). I also make sure to drink lots & lots of water, which keeps my skin clear.
