Reception Hall Prices
Hi, I am looking for a nice place to have a Saturday evening wedding during July or August for under $100. Do you know of any places? thanks so much. We are just starting the process of planning a wedding.

Re: Reception Hall Prices
I highly recommend the Riviera in Massapequa. The price is under $100 ( which includes a lot )They have beautiful grounds, their on the water , they hold only one wedding at a time so the place is all yours, and so far I've heard nothing but good things from people who have attended weddings that their food is excellent. They don't advertise much but you really should look into it, let me know if you do!!!Good Luck

Re: Reception Hall Prices
I highly recommend the Meadow Club. They have great prices, and the food is great. My sister got married there. You can choose from 3 packages. I think you may even get a the package for a viennese table for less than $100. Unless the prices went up.Oh, by the way, the Meadow Club is located in Port Jeffereson.

Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club
I am getting married there on 7/5/03 and the price is $89.50 plus tax and gratuities, so it comes out to a little more than $100 per person. Whatever prices you are quoted be aware that once the tax, etc. comes into play, the price per person is a little higher. Give Denise a call at the Hamlet, it is definitely worth taking a look at! She is wonderful to work with. I keep popping in with family/friends who want to see it, and she is always so pleasant.Becky

Re: Reception Prices
My Reception is at The Meadow Club, and we have the Viennese hour for under $100. Actually, it'll come out to about $85 after tax & gratuity.Stay away from the Riviera in Massapequa. It will be over $100 for a Saturday night and the food is awful. I was just there this past Saturday night for a wedding, and the food was terrible. Anyone who had the chicken didn't eat it. And more than one person was very ill from the food either that night or the next day - myself included.

Re: Reception Hall Prices
if you are looking in nassau, try '15th and West' at the Nassau County Bar Association. Beautiful rooms for the cocktail hour and reception, and very reasonable for a sat. night (80p/p). They are not allowed to advertise and only go by word of mouth, which is why many people have not heard of them. I am getting married there in October and have searched for reviews, all of which were favorable. Ask for Marie, and tell her debbie sent you (10/12/02). good luck! 516-739-2217

Re: Reception Hall Prices
When I went to see the North Ritz Club, they told me it would be $85 for a Saturday afternoon in March! Also, we wouldn't be the only party, since we'd only guarantee 100.
