veil on a stick??
Hey girls, what's a veil on a stick and is it necessary if you want the veil placed kind of in the top of an updo?

Re: veil on a stick??
I know there is a thread about this...that keeps getting brought up, but the stick you are referring to is a piece of metal bent (a thicker version of a wire hanger bent in a thin T shape) so that when you put it in your hair, and want to pull it back out, the stick does not mess up your hair. Whereas one on a comb might make your hair get a little messed up if not pulled out correctly.

Instead of a comb attached to the end of your veil, they use what looks like a stick. It is much easier to remove it without messing up your hair.

Re: veil on a stick??
I think the stick veil looks really pretty....because it's mysteriouswhere it's even coming from!
However, I told Hair Genie, Miss Jenn, that I wanted to take the
veil out mid party and she made it so easy; came right out and no mess.

Re: veil on a stick??
so is it's purpose just for people who want to take the veil off? because I'm planning on leaving mine in all night. can you use a normal veil with a comb if you want the veil in your updo (not underneath)? I'm so confused, I didn't think I needed to put this much thought into the way this thing was staying on my head!
