IF I DAMAGE ONE MORE ENVELOPE I WILL PULL MY HAIR OUT!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

OK, so I am TRYING to print the envelopes out for the STD's. I have it all set up in Word, but it WON'T print properly!!!! They are printing only HALF on the envelope!!!! What am I doing wrong?

Do I HAVE to print right onto the evnelope? Would it be bad if I just printed onto labels? What did everyone else do????? I am getting soooooooo frustrated!!!!!!!

i always cut paper into the size of the envelop to practice and make sure it comes out right before I use the actualy envelopes.

Make sure your word document margins and etc are set up correctly

no it wouldn't be terrible if you used labels!

if doing what jgl said doesn't work, go with the labels!

I went through the same thing, its SO annoying

but what we did was cut paper to the size of the enveolpe and test printed on that until we got it right [after like 20 times]

you'll get it eventually

o yea and labels are just fine.. who cares?!?!?

and if you get clear labels its barely noticable!

Thanks girls! I will do the paper thing and see if that works. I guess I was so frustrated that it didn't even occur to me to do that!!!

I did clear labels and it looked fine. Have you ever looked at an envelope and said, 'God! I can't believe she used a label!'

I cut paper to be the exact size of the envelope first instead of using the envelope itself. Once i got it right, then i started with the actual envelopes

Make sure you set the paper size on word AND the printer

I was having the same problem. I ended up printing on clear labels!

Really, I don't think it's a big deal to use labels. If you use clear labels, no one will even know. I don't buy this etiquette stuff. I am using them for my wedding invitations.

i just read this to my FI and he laughed!! i'm using clear labels too but FI was thinking its tacky....but i like it!
