My Wedding Review 7/23/06 -- Crowne Plaza Hotel, Finer Touch Entertainment, Miracle Photography Studio, Designer Limousines, Reel to Reel Videographer

First, sorry it has taken me so long to do this but I just got my computer so here we go.

My wedding day was absolutely wonderful ... the weather was a little worrisome in the morning but the sun came out beautifully by the time we had to take pictures. It was stressful getting ready we stayed at the hotel the night before. I was happy with my hair I did it myself :) and it came out great. I couldn't find someone who could do my hair the way I wanted it so I practiced for 5 months straight to make sure I could get it how I liked it. I have to say planning early payed off because things went to together so great. The singing, the hand ceremony and the vows were just amazing. It was just a wonderful and beauitful day and he cried hehe!! I worked hard for that part. I hope you enjoy this review.

Thanks to LIW you guys were the best. I wouldn't have never got rescued from my original flower fiasco if it hadn't been for this website. It is a true treasure for all the brides on here. Special thanks to SweetCindy for sharing the hand ceremony. It was such an awesome and amazing part of my day I can't thank you enough for sharing it with me.

Total Wedding Plaza - Flushing, NY I got my dress from there. No I didn't get my dress from my job David's Bridal .. working there and buying your dress there is hard because I didn't want to have to see my dress everyday or put on people either!! I stumbled on this store becasue of my finace he saw it and took me there. My dress was by Mori Lee and was a lot like a Oleg Cassini that I loved at David's. I wanted a long semi-cathedral train. I changed the belt on my dress to a ribbon because I liked it better. The dress was amazing. Their alterations were horrible so I took my dress before she could ruin. My friends at work rescued me and saved my dress which, turned out beautiful! So for that I give her a D!!!

Bridal World, Baldwin, NY -- They were soooo wonderful!! I worked with Bonnie she was great. They were new when I went there so I thought I would check them out. I found my girls dresses there. I am a seamstress and was considerig to make them but theses were everything I would have made so I got them there. They are by Mori Lee and they were just sooooo beautiful. The service there was amazing... Highly reccommend A+++++++++++++++++++++




Crown Plaza Hotel-- They were absolutely the best!! From booking all of our rooms and giving great rates to my friends and family tostay there. The food was awesome and very elegant. Zahid who was my banquet manager was so helpful in making sure things were the way that I wanted it. I couldn't have been happier. I give them a A++++++++++++++++

Designer Touch Limousines -- My concact person was Norman. He used to rep at David's Bridal where I work an they were wonderful. They arrived early! They were helpful when my girls were making me late hehe... and didn't charge me any overages which was awesome. I would definitely give them a A++++++++++++++

Akira Designs by Michelle Williams -- She made my favors, centerpieces, and invitations. Her work was all that I could have wanted but her customer service at the end was horrible. I had to turn her over to my mom becasue I would have killed her lol ... so I give her a A for work but a C for customer service.





Finer Touch Entertaiment Contact Harold -- I can even tell you. I had a rough crowd because some are very religious and didn't dance at all and others were definite dancers. My husband is really picky over music so as a result play list was 100 songs long because of that. He sat with me twice before the wedding and we talked in length and he was so helpful and understanding to the crowd I was having. He did get people to dance and he just played such great and elegant music. I would give him a AAAA+++++++++++++++++++++++

Mircale Photography Studio -- They were pretty good I can't say they were awesome though. He did come on time and was able to take lots of pictures. He wasn't always mindful of time constraints though so that was annoying. Also, they didn't take alot of pictures at the reception so there are scores of people that I don't have pictures of because of it. Although I was reccommended to them by a lot of people I thought I would have gotten more for all the money that we spent on it. That was disappointing. The pictures in the park were beautiful. B+++






Hand painted Runner by Rebecca Woods -- Rebecca is my friend and an amazing artist. All I did was send her my wedding invitations and she created my runner based off that. She lives in Buffalo and she was pregnant at the time. She lovingly painted this for me and had her baby 3 days later!!!! Whew!!!! I was definitely stressing and she put up with me the results were sooooo amazing. AAAAA++++++++++++++++++++++++





Reel to Reel Productions - Travis They were soo awesome my church is huge so I needed two cameras so that everything could be captured. Travis was awesome and my dvd came out soo amazing. They are small and young so they put a lot more creativity into the dvd than a large production company. Excellent A+++++++++++++++++

Overall, my wedding day was so fun, exciting, elegant and all that I could have ever wanted it to be. I was just sad it went so fast!! If I could do it all over again I would!!

i love the color usage throughout the wedding especially in the groom's tie! very nice touch. i think your hair/makeup was beautiful, i remember your trial pics!!
