Saw Evil Dead the musical last nite.....(if you gross out easy don't look at pic at bottom)

...and it ROCKED! if anyone here is a horror afficionado like my FH and i are, and love the Evil Dead series....this show is farking hilarious. i nearly peed myself, i was laughing so hard. seriously, a show that lets you bring liquor drinks to your seat? it just doesn't get any better. (being rather loaded watching it, helped as well.) you know you're in for a treat when one of the first few numbers is 'What the f**k was that?'

i got the tix as a wedding present to fellow LIW gal GothBride who had the halloween themed wedding. we, along with my sister and her BF, went and sat in the FRONT row. let me just explain to all who don't know, that the evil dead 1 & 2 are very gory bloodfest movies, and the writers of the musical felt the show should be this way too. therefore they made a 'Splatter Zone' out of the first 3 rows, and warn that you will be 'covered in blood' by the end of the show and have plastic covers on the seats and actually hand out RAIN PONCHOS!

no one, and i mean, NO ONE, got covered in blood MORE than ME! one of the actors actually thew an entire cup of blood at my face and it was covered in sticky fake blood, then towards the end of the show there is a massacre and the audience is just assaulted with the stuff. i have a great sense of humor and loved it!

we decided to walk back to the subway, and walk around penn station still covered in fake blood. i can not express how hilarious all the looks we got were, ppl didn't know what to think. below is a pic of my FH and i, and the sad thing is that i actually cleaned up my face a lot and that is what is still leftover. HAHAHA!

Sounds like a Blast.. I am not into blood and gore, but if I was, that would have been a cool thing to do!!!! Glad you had fun and didn't pee yourself!!!!!!

Interesting! i would have been the one in the subway station who went the oppposite way after seeing you guys
