Any Negative Feeback/Comments......

for Oksana (Makeup by Oksana) or Jen (Jen the Hair Genie)?

I want to set up hair trials with them and I've read A LOT of good comments on them. So I was wondering if any bride on here happened to have a negative experience with them....

My gf used her a week ago b/c she was in a wedding party. She told me she was not crazy about her. Sorry for the negative feedback but this is what she told me. From what I see of the other girls on here, she does a pretty good job.

Well when I was setting up my make up trials I left her 3 voice messages and 4 emails and she never responded to any of them so I ended up booking with someone else...now, like 4 weeks later she's emailing me back! i don't get it.

At least you have a phone number.....I have been communicating with them solely via email. Things can get somewhat disorganized that way.

I had a trial with them. They are both so sweet and great personalities!

They did a good job on my hair/makeup but I booked with someone else for makeup (airbrush) and ended up going to my regular salon for my hair and BM's hair.

I had to email Jen like 3 times before I got any response....and this is after she initially emailed me on here when I was looking for quotes!!!! Kind of makes you wary about going with someone who doesn't respond quickly or after multiple attempts!

I love them both. They did me, my mom and two bridesmaids two weeks ago. People have not stopped raving about how we all looked. I've never heard anything negative about them. The are awesome...so much fun and great people to have with you that day. Oksana calmed me down when I started freaking and Jenn helped me get dressed!

i had 2 bad hair trials before my third (and good) one. i was a little upset since i spent so much money, but the day of, my hair was great. they were very nice to work with.

She really is very difficult to get a hold of. I only communicated via e-mail with her in attempts to schedule a trial. I asked her for a speedier way to communicate but she said e-mail was the quickest. I ended up getting a trial elsewhere.
