proline photographers...any feedback

I have booked proline photographers in Great Neck for my pictures and video. I have been booked with them for the past year and only now am I having any doubts. Not because I have had any bad experiences with them but because I havent truly seen their work up close. LIke on a first hand basis. I wanted to know if anyone else booked them or have heard anything about them. Thank you in advance!

We booked them (the one in Huntington) and thought their work was nice. We did it quickly too and had only looked at one other place. Proline's prices were much better and more came with the packages. I have heard good things about them (one of my student's mothers used them for her wedding and actually brought in her wedding album to show me). They were great! I hope they will continue to be for us

We thought that Proline's work (Great Neck office) was very, very nice; my boss's son used them for his wedding last year and neighbor's used them for their daughther's bat mitzvah. Their prices are very reasonable; compared to other photographers we met with, Proline's prices were probably the lowest-with packages that included more.

We didn't book them because (this may sound silly) I didn't like the sales rep we met with. Our appointment was the last in the evening and he was very rushed and impatient-and I had lots of questions! I just had a gut feeling not to go with them.

That said, they do great work-from what I've seen. The impatient person we met with was not a photographer.

I am glad to hear someone has booked with them. I haven't heard anything about them except that they are a house vendor from CB. I will have to visit one of their offices. When do you meet with the photographer if you do not book the contract with him / her?

I have not used them personally, but I have a friend who did. She was very happy with the photos, but she was not pleased with the photographers assistant. She came dressed like Elvira, wearing a studded dog collar, to the wedding. That is not such a huge deal, but if you think it would be an issue, you could just clarify your expectations for professional dress with them. Good Luck!

I actually met with them in their Huntington office and the pictures were beautiful but I liked another photographer better. Pro Line didn't seem to be willing to work with me on price or package options. What they have is wht you get. But nothing negative. The studio was nice and they seemed professional they just weren't for me.

I met with them and liked their work but not the people as well, just not as nice as the people as cassarinos, I booked with them, I met with a man who was nice, but overly nice, like phony nice who talked to me and my mom like we were three, so they just werent for me
their video they showed me however was very state of the art, think they had better video then photo books, but that is just my opinion
I didnt use them for the video though Either b/c of the baby attitude towards me

Tammyjill- I booked with Cassarino too. I REALLY liked them and their work. How excited are we!!!!!!

Cassarino and Proline are in sync as far as price but there are a few differences in packages and what they are willing to work out for you. I will end up paying a little less at Cassarinos and getting a few more pics.

do you know who your photographer is yet? Mine is laura G, I really liked her book, so far I only s/w her once or twice on the phone, but she seems nice

I met with George Petty (co-owner) and I am supposed to come in and book them this week. I haven't been able to go back I've been so busy, but I will this week. I think mine will be a guy but I will know specifically when I sign the contract. SO EXCITED!!!!!

My friend used them for her wedding recently. I would be sure that you are very specific with them. The photographer that she requested (who had shot her friends wedding) did not come, it was a different photographer even though she had requested a specific person. Also, I noticed that he did not take many photos during the reception, both videographer and photographer were hanging out and sitting down during much of the reception. I find that insulting knowing how much she paid proline.

I used Proline for my wedding last June. I have had so many compliments on my pictures and video. I am so happy with the final product. My friend used them at her wedding this weekend and requested the same photographer we used. His name is Danny and he is the nicest guy. my sister (my MOH) was in her bridal party and he remembered her name, he remembered my husband and I as well. I was glad to get the chance to see him again and tell him how happy we were. Hope this helps! Congratulations

We are also going with Proline (Huntington)... A friend of mine had an album and it was awesome!! We are getting the new digital album, which costs a FORTUNE!! I haven't heard anything negative about them!!!
