CB brides (or other brides in the area) anyone booking rooms in the Holiday Inn (Westbury) or Wingate Inn (Garden City)?

I need to book rooms for family guests, and one for me and one for FH (we will be sleeping apart night before). Can anyone tell me what kind of deals they are getting and/or are there any other hotels in the area that I am forgetting (we do want to be close by). I am getting married at Chateau Briand in Westbury.

We booked a honeymoon suite at the Wingate. The room is beautiful. I don't remember the exact price but it wasn't that cheap.

We looked into this extensively.....

The Holiday Inn is offereing group rates of $149 per room.

The Wingate is $145 per room.

the Red Roof Inn is offering group rates from 99 - 119 depending on occupancy.

I am getting married Oct 12th, and rooms at the Wingate and the HOliday Inn were filled up over 6 months in advance because of Hofstra family weekend or something like that. We were able to get a block of rooms at the Red Roof Inn (not my first choice) for 114$ including tax.There's no restaurant there, and no coffee makers in the room, but at least it's brand new.
