Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
I have so many but the best one is I show up at the church and my hair is a big mess and my dress did not get altered b/c I could not afford to
The men were not wearing their tuxes, they were wearing these sweater vest and I did not reognize any of the men. My FI was not at the alter when I showed up and I called him on my cellphone to find out where he was, he was so non chalant about it, saying he was on his way and he would get there when he could
I think it got too bad to bear b/c I woke up. Oh my limos did not show up either so I was running in the street with my dress in my hand trying to make it to the church on time. I was so sweaty and my hair had fallen apart.
I could not take it anymore maybe that is why I woke up. Thank goodness it was only a dream. I am sure I am not the only one that has them, now share them

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
I have had at least 10. That the DJ is an old man and the music is so low that no one can hear it, that my brother (who is my 'gentleman of honor' sleeps through the whole thing, that the wedding is over and we are laying in bed and we realize that the photographer and the video guy never showed up and we have no pictures, that I am running around doing errands the day of the wedding and my car won't start (the car that I owned in college that I junked about 10 years ago), and of course the classic ones that my hair and makeup look horrible. Think I'm psychotic yet??? I do!!

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
So funny..I thought I was the only one.In mine, my fiance fell asleep at the reception, the catering hall put tables on the dance floor saying no one is using it anyway, my updo fell down and my drunk friend tired to fix it, then I was angry and punched a hole in a wall!

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
I've been married almost 2 months and I just had a wedding nightmare this past week. I think it's trying to tell me I spend too much time on internet sites realted to weddings!! Anyway, my nightmare was that we arrived at the reception site and no one else was showing up (guests that is). We find out that there was a major pile up on the parkway, and the entire contingency of our wedding guests were stuck in traffic for close to 2 hours. We were getting ready to call it quits when our guests started to show up, however, the reception hall was kicking us out because they had anohter party. I woke up then.I have no idea why I dreamt this, we had no problems like this the day of our wedding!!

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
I've had SO many!! The one I remember the most is that My Sister-In-Law had my dress, veil & shoes. And it was 2:15 I'm at the church & the priest is like it's now or never!! And all I could do is cry!I also had a dream that my engagement ring was squashed except for on side stone. Sure enough 2 days later one of my side stones popped out of my ring!!! (no lie!!) Luckily the store my Fi got it in replaced it!

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
My worst was that on the day of the wedding I realize that I forgot to get BM dresses and people to do our hair & make-up, that the teeny tiny room we are in when we put on the ugliest dresses and do the worst job on our hair and make up in is actually the reception room. Oh and that people start arriviving while we are still making ourselves ugly.Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, think the wedding is next week and that we are $15,000 short. That might be a preminition though, rather than a dream

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
This one may just come true!!!!I went to my cousin's wedding last month and his wife (bride at the time) made a fool out of herself. First, she came walking down the aisle chewing gum like a cow, when she sw her friend sitting in a pew, she screamed 'move over I'm tired!' and proceeded to sit down next to her. During the reception she was even worse. Instead of having the DJ announce her and her husband, she ran over to the DJ, grabbed his mike and belched loudly. Then she screamed 'let's get ready to rumble!!!!!!' She then proceeded to the dance floor and danced like Elaine from Seinfield. She ran around the room making the armpit farts and jumping into pictures with her mouth hanging open and food falling out. For the toast the best man gave, he proceeded to say nice things about this bride and what his brother thought of her when they first met. It was really a lovely-heart felt speech that ended with her standing up on a chair and yelling out 'you forgot attractive!' while grabbing her boobs and jiggling them!!!!!
The night continued like this. My Aunt was so embarassed that she drant A LOT (and she is not a drinker) and had to be taken home early. No one in the family likes her except my cousin.
Oh, and by the way~ NO SHE WAS NOT DRUNK! It's just her personality!
MY nightmare begins because she is coming to MY wedding! I can only imagine her trying to trip me as I walk down the aisle or yelling out embarassing stuff. Time will only tell with this one!
Wish me luck!
Kelly

Kelly- I am laughing because I want to see the video
I cannot imagine that she was sober and had not smoked a 'special' something in the car.My nightmares have been: I totally forgot about my seating charts and the guests arrived without placecards.
The morning of the wedding I realized that I forgot to print the programs and menu cards.
Usually it is silly stuff like that.

That is hysterical!!! Did she take muscle relaxers, becuase it reminded me of the sister in Sixteen Candles, right down to asking someone in the pew to move over. I wish I could have seen that...although, not at MY wedding. You will have to add a review of her antics into your post-wedding vendor review

Re: Kelly
The one that I remember the most was that I forgot to book someone to do my hair and make-up so I had to do it myself and it looked hideous. Then when I got to the church I forgot to book a photographer and videographer. (maybe that would have been a good thing since I looked hideous-LOL)Mind you I had this dream when I was researching photographers and videographers. Since I have finally booked someone I have not had the dream since.

Re: Kelly
Kelly, that story has me hysterical. At least I am not the only one having panic wedding dreams, my FI thinks I am strange! I have been writing them down since they are so funny. One is that I show up at my shower and I am early and I have to sit on the curb and wait until everything gets set up, another was that I was planning my menu without my FI and I was calling him to come and he wouldn't talk to me on the phone, another was that people were arriving and we didn't have enough seats and I was meeting with my reverand for the first time a few minutes before and DJ was asking me how many trebles the place could take!??! I haven't had one in a few weeks and now that I responded to this post, I am sure to have one tonight!!!

Re: Kelly
I have had all of the above, but I think the worst one was the one that I had over the weekend- I forgot to mail the invitations and didn't realize until the day of the wedding.Once a few months ago, I actually woke up hyperventilating! FH was really worried. I had a really bad dream where my dress was missing on the day of the wedding, so I had to wear a sundress.

Re: Share with us your worst wedding nightmare
The only one I remember having is all of a sudden it is an hour before my wedding, I dont have my dress, and my hair and makeup look like they usually do.My MOH dreamt that all we were serving at our reception was vodka (and no juice or soda to mix it with). She said everybody was drunk and throwing up and acting sooo stupid.
Kelly...I cant believe this girl. Didnt anyone in her family or her friends try to get her to calm down? That is too much!!
