Can you guys give me an opinon on this Florist Quote?

2 Altar Arrangements
4 Pew Arrangements
mini pew flower arrangements because I REFUSE to have pew bows connecting the organza draped on the pews

*Flowers for the Ladies Room
*Bubble Bowls of Roses for the Cocktail Hour Tables
*14 Centerpieces made up of roses and calla lilies with rose petals scattered around the centerpieces.
*2 Large Centerpieces for the Head Table with Amaryllis, Calla Lilies and *Roses + Large Pillar Candles Centered between the two arrangements
*Cake Flowers
*Flowers for the cocktail hour tables
*Pillar Candles and Flowers for one Mantle
(For the extra $500 I would get a large arrangement for the tablecard table, but opted for the large head table centerpieces and votive candles to be placed there as the guests enter and then moved to the reception room after cocktail hour. SQUARE mini vases instead of the bubble bowls.For $3500 I'd have to settle for pew bows instead of the small flowers at the pews...)

*My bouquet made up of red amaryllis and calla lilies and various shades of pink roses (undecided on the berries and beargrass, because he said that the blushberries are out of season and I'm not sure about the pepperberries)

I have another meeting on the 27th with Flower Michelle.
I know that Spitz and Peck is one of the pricier florists so I'm *thinking* that maybe it's actually pretty good for everything I'm getting.
I'm hoping that Flower Michelle can definately beat the price by $700 or more...
The guy seemed nice...but not to creative...he said he could tell that I had expensive and 'particular' tastes probably due to all my pics and typed notes...:i.e. DETEST PEW RIBBONS, 100% SILK RIBBON to hand tie the bouquets, etc.

sounds higher than I'd expect. Perhaps it the cala lilly centerpieces that raise the price. I used Flower Michele - you'll love John.

Try Pedestals and speak with Danny. Your price is alittle more than we are paying and we are getting 22 high centerpieces with 3 dozens roses and other flowers and we also got an arch of flowers through in. The only thing not included in the price was a centerpiece for the placecard table which we will either forego as i am making awesome placecards or we will swap one out from the reception. We had looked at Spitz and Peck too and they really were at least $1,000 more. I also didn't get too great of a vibe from the guy we were dealing with. I forgot his name but i believe he was tall with dark hair. Let me know if you go to Pedestals/Danny. He really is awesome, gave us a great deal and he is nice to work with.
