Funny things in life....

You know how there are things that we ponder in life, that just keep happening.....
Well this is one of my favorites... I cant help but laugh over it every time it happens...

Why is it that....

Lets say youre on vacation, and found the perfect picture spot...
EVERY TIME you ask someone to take a picture of you, they say 'Sure, just tell me what to do' or 'Sure what do I do, press here ?'

I swear, the other day was my last straw, I wanted to say something like 'Well actually, you pull this string, then some smoke will come out of the camera, then you shake it till it beeps three times, and then you make a circle with your thumb and forefinger, look through, and pull the string !!!!'
DH dies laughing every time someone asks us that now, because he knows its a the tip of my tongue to blurb out something silly !

Is it me or is this at the top of the STUPIDEST QUESTION PEOPLE ASK List !!! OK its funny, I get a kick out of it, but 'Are you serious ????'

While we're on this 'funny moments' bit, anyone have any that they want to share ? we can all use a good laugh !!



PS- I'll bring my camera tomorrow nite !

I guess it depends on the camera - I have one that is an auto-focus with just one button, but my digital has two buttons - one for taking the picture, and one next to it that controls the zoom feature, and the one at work that we use for product photos has a button that you have to hold for a second, if you release too soon it won't grab the shot.

Guess it's one of those pet peeves we all have about something Hubby's camera pet peeve is all the poeple who take flash photos in stadiums when the flash only works on subjects 6 feet away - I keep telling him it's auto-flash and they have no control over it, but it makes him crazy anyway!

I have several cameras myself and yes, most involve simply pressing the button. Others are more complex.
Even though I am so used to mine, I find myself doing the same thing when a stranger hands me a camera I've never seen before. Kinda like getting behind the wheel of someone elses car or trying to turn on anothers stereo, I can never find the power! Plus maybe its just nervous conversation.
