CLM brides-anyone do/doing a candy table?

I was wondering if any CLM brides were doing their own candy table/buffet? I asked Nick about it and he said it was ok as long as the candy is wrapped...i had really wanted to do things like jelly beans and m&ms in glass containers but it's not wrapped. I am assuming i cant use them now.

has anyone else done a candy table there?
what candies did you/are you using?
and where did you/are you putting it in the room? Thanks

i went to a wedding at CLM that had a candy buffet table set up in their vienese hour & it was a huge hit. the vienese hour was in a seperate room, the candy had its own table & there was everything: dots, m&m's, candy apples, jolly ranchers, kisses, just everything you could think of. CLM did a great job of setting it up, although the bride provided all the candy herself & even some of the special jars/glasses. she also provided clear bags with personal labels so guests could bring candy home. people just loved it!

Did you ask them exactly what they meant by wrapped? Maybe they want it packaged when you drop it off so they can put it into the containerson the table?

(Okay, I know that was a long shot!)

there didn't seem to be a problem with having unwrapped m&m's. she had a huge martini glass full of personalized m&m's with a scoop for guests. hth!

I didnt have that. I had the chocolate fountain which was so good I actually bought one for my home!! LOL No kidding!

Im sure its great b/c whatever CLM does seems to be wonderful, but IMO there was no need.

Also no candy table here but chocolate fountain...sure it would be great but you get SOOO much there!

We had the candy cart they provided and it was a huge selection. They sent all the extra candy home with us too!!

We had a chocolate fountain as well- that was definetly the bigger hit!

Were doing a candy bar as the favors ... Were putting boxes with tags on everyone place setting then at the end were doing a whole candy bar and they fill them up with like 45 different candy well have ..
