How much did you pay for gown cleaning/preservation???

I was quoted $180 from my regular cleaner. She said that she sometimes charges $200, but mine is a simple dress. Is this average price?? She also said that the box itself is very expensive.

My regular cleaner is doing it for $175.00. I am surprised it is not more since my dress is pretty detailed with a long train.

I paid 150 for mine.That included my gown, headpiece and gloves.

does anyone have a name of a fabulous place to take mine...Money is not a consideration...I want to make sure its perfect - so it stay in a box for the rest of my life

(although that was a joke...I do want a place that will perfectly preserve it)

Yabbobay - can't help, but I wanted to post to say I got my dress cleaned and preserved through VIP Tuxedos because my hubby's bridal party rented more than 9 tuxes. Haven't gotten it back yet, but it seemed like a good deal.
