Place card Ideas??? Post Pics

I'm looking for place card ideas. I'm using the fall theme. Does anyone have some ideas??? I was gonna do a place card tree but i really don't see that working, i see it being a lil chaotic......Any ideas???

Maybe you can try putting the names on leaves (cut outs). I love the tree idea! I don't know how it would work, but I have heard of that before and I always loved that idea.

I wish I had a picture of this, but let me try to describe it to you. A friend of mine had a leaf theme for her wedding. All of her placecards were on green paper that was cut out in the shape of a leaf. Her uncle made her this really neat stand to put them all in. Basically, he took tree banches, bark and all, and put them together into a grid. Then he cut little slits in the top of each branch so that she could just slip the placecards in it. It looked really cute.

I'm trying to picture this. So the placecards ar not hanging? Correct? it sounds kinda cool i'm thinking if I could do something like that by myself....thanks. If you come across a picture please post it

This is quite possible the worst drawing ever, but hopefully it will give you the general idea. There were more than two leaves on each 'riser' though. It was kind of like stadium seating for paper leaves.

We're having a fall-themed wedding also. How about cutting out small leaves from cardstock, writing your guests names and table numbers on them, and then pinning them to real pears/apples/mini pumpkins/gourds (your choice!).

My friend got married in November and had a beautiful place card tree. Loved it! If you have over 150 guests you can have two trees and place a framed sign in front of them A-M on one table and N-Z on the other. It will lessen the confusion.

We're having a champagne theme and are naming the tables after champagnes and wines. This is the place card we are using:

How about votive placecards? Maybe you can find vellum paper with an autumn pattern or something.

I LOVE this idea!!! Were wine drinkers as well and so are alot of our guests! How would you personalize each card though? Print the names out on the printer on clear labels and place them on the card?
