STOLEN FROM 07: what are you getting fh for v-day

I dont know what to do bc not only is it vday bc fh's birthday was on the 5th just two days ago, then v-day, and then 3 days after v-day is our anniversary. So i dont know if i should do a combo gift or 3 gifts lol...But problem is that our eparty is in 17 days and we have to pay for quite a few things...I was even thinking of getting him a big gift right after the party...but i do want to get him a lil something.

As some of you might remember fh was in vegas until yesterday so he was there for his b-day, that was my x-mas gift to him, and on the day of his birthday i called up the hotel to send over a cake, bottle of scotch and balloons. So that can be his b-day gift until after e-party hahaha

I NEED IDEAS...like i said until after the party i want to at least give him a little something...sorry i made this long

we are just going out to eat. . . we just got over my birthday, christmas, our 9th anniversary and a trip to Mohegan Sun. . . so no presents

so far he has never stuck to this deal but hopefully he will this time because I am just getting him a card lol

we are just going out to eat. . . we just got over my birthday, christmas, our 9th anniversary and a trip to Mohegan Sun. . . so no presents

so far he has never stuck to this deal but hopefully he will this time because I am just getting him a card lol

I did get him a card, i might just give him that until right after our e-party. I did do something nice for his bday so im good for a while hahaha jk

wow i stink my response is so not helpful . . . my favorite thing is to get something that the two of you can do together - like Mohegan Sun was a present for his birthday so maybe you can do a weekend at a casino near here a little pricey BUT if you stay in a hotel NEAR the casino instead of in the casino then you save A LOT

a day just for him - all stuff he likes to do and eat whre he likes to eat. . . and you can give him an itinerary ON v day so you have something physical to give him

to tell FH that we were going to Mohegan - i got him a piggy bank and put all these cards in it that said where and when we were going

lol well how about this FH's birthday was oct 6th and we just got to Mohegan this past weekend!! btw his job and the holidays it was just too crazy! and honestly THANK GOODNESS i booked it in advance bc otherwise we would have never gone - we are redoing the attic and of course this weekend everyone was available to help with plumbing and electrical - but since it was already booked we were forced to go which was great bc otherwise we would have NEVER gotten a change to get away!

Yeah youre right, and i think i am just gonna wait until after the party to get him something good, i am sure he will be more than understanding...Not sure if i will do a trip, i think its an awesome idea but the last gift i gave him was a trip to vegas so wanna do something different...ACTUALLY what i really want to do is get him the engagement gift i plan on giving him, that i still haven't.

We celebrated last weekend. Since its during the week, I won't see him. He is on LI and Im in manhattan. We stayed at the Hyatt out east- very nice! And we may go to dinner this weekend at garden city hotel with the gift certificate I won at fortunoffs.

can you tell me which Hyatt you stayed at? I am looking for a place to be kind of like 'our place' and I dont want it to be TOO expensive but i dont want it to be gross either . . . we will be living with my parents after the wedding so we will definitely need some weekend getaways!

i LOVE the garden city hotel. . . definitely stay over - it seems silly to stay somewhere so close to home but its really nice i loved it!

Ooo sounds nice, hope you had a great time which im sure you did. I actually really wanted to go to Fh's house in the poconos but we wont have time...I cant get alot done during the week, so i leave most things i have left to do for the party on the weekend, we only have two weekends left, this weekend were also going out with friends to celebrate both our birthdays. I wish we could do something like that

He's gotten mad at me when i try to talk about getting him something for Vday. So i'm not getting him anything. The way he sees it is that I paid for EVERYTHING he needed or we needed for that matter while he was out of work, so he doesnt want me to spend anymore money.. But he called me up all excited that he got me presents today.

We don't usually spend too much on Valentine's day gifts because we usually go out to eat at Ruth's Chris for dinner, which can get very expensive when you throw in some bottles of wine. But this year i bought him this mets package that includes 4 16 oz glasses, 12 coasters and a metal bucket for drink chilling. When we have people over, he always likes to put buckets of beer on ice around, so people don't have to get up (lazy asses, lol ) and he is mets obsessed, so i figured this is a good one
